Mayors' Volunteer Awards

Picture
Award recipients will be selected by the Mayors of Cedar Falls, Evansdale, and Waterloo and Grow Cedar Valley Ambassadors.

Nominees will be notified by the Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley and celebrated at the Mayors' Volunteer Awards luncheon to be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Diamond Event Center. Details to follow. ​

Mayors' Top Teen Awards

Mayors' Top Teen Awards is a self-selection process.

​All those nominated or applied will be recipients and honored at a special event on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 6 p.m. at Diamond Event Center in Cedar Falls. Details to follow.

Governor's Volunteer Award

​The Governor’s Volunteer Awards program, established in 1982, provides an easy way for organizations to honor their volunteers with a prestigious, state-level recognition award. Three award categories are available: Individual, Group, and Length of Service.

Presidential Service Volunteer Awards

Picture
In 2003, the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation founded the President’s Volunteer Service Award to recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too.
